Wes Borland Shares First Guitar Parts From Limp Bizkit’s Upcoming New Album — Kerrang!

Fans rejoiced and haters chortled earlier this year when rap-metal all-stars Limp Bizkit announced they were working on a new studio album, their first in over five years.

Now, guitarist Wes Borland has posted studio shots to his Instagram account, including videos that appear to feature the first guitar parts from the album:

Borland also shared a pretty adorable photo of himself in the studio, stating that recording of the album was going as planned:

To say that 2018 has been a crazy year for Limp Bizkit is an understatement. The band had a roof collapse on their Boomtown Fair show, and a video of Borland getting swallowed by a massive mosh pit went viral. So one assumes that writing and recording an album in a dry, safe studio is a welcome change…though given the band’s luck, we’ll see whether or not the console explodes in a swarm of locusts or something along those lines.
