Cristiano Ronaldo hit back at his critics with an unusual message after his starring role in the Champions League final.
The two-goal hero picked up his FOURTH winners medal in the 4-1 win over Juventus in Cardiff.
But the 32-year-old has incredibly been booed by his own fans this season.
The ex-Manchester United man said: “The objective is to win next season’s Champions League, it is not easy, but nothing is impossible. The people who always criticise Cristiano are going to have put their guitar back in its case.
“I have finished the season well. I am very happy as we are the first team to win two consecutive Champions Leagues, and scoring two goals.
“The double is another record for all these players, who deserve it.”
Ronaldo has set his sights on making more history with Real Madrid after the Spanish giants became the first club to retain the Champions League.
He said: “It’s another record for us and we deserve it.
“The goal now is to win the next Champions League as we won this one, showing that we’re the best and taking advantage of the support we had right from the beginning.
“We’re the first team to win the Champions League two years running.
“I scored two goals in the final and I’m the top scorer in the competition this season. So I’m happy.
“I prepared for this. We knew that the big trophies are won right at the end.
“It was a spectacular end to the season with La Liga and the Champions League.
“What more could I ask? Another Ballon d’Or? We’ll see.
“I will now try to make the most of this unique moment in my career and then prepare for international duty with Portugal.”
