Meet Pacific, a piano-rock band who need adding to your playlist.

Stormzy features in new short film for single Cigarettes And Cush

The four lads, Anthony Orzel, Daniel Orzel, Dave Bithell, Drew Burns, all hail from Cheshire and form the alternative/ indie band. They’re managed by the same guy who worked with the likes of Muse and Grace Jones, so these guys are in good hands and on the cusp of making it big. They’ve also had the backing of BBC radio’s Huw Stephens, who’s well known for his nose for the next big thing.

Pacific will be at Rivfest on September 2 in memory of Viola Beach, and they recently performed on the same stage as Will Smith at Livewire.

Their sound is big and bold, with a focus on the keys, and they released their EP What Are You Waiting For, full of huge melodies and big smackers of songs. Their music holds the nice little injection of indie rock the charts so desperately need right now. Their single Time To Forget, got them noticed by influential music bods.

The video is simple but powerful, with the lads playing in a blacked out room rocking out to their own track and you can have an exclusive first look here:
