GREENVILLE, Ky. (9/6/17) — Eric Anderson of Greenville recently had his own hand-crafted guitar signed by television star John Schneider.
Anderson attended the John Schneider concert Aug. 26 at the Merle Travis Music Center in Powderly. While there, he asked Schneider to sign his guitar. Schneider, is a guitarist and former actor on the The Dukes of Hazzard and Smallville.
Anderson hand crafted the instrument at a guitar-building workshop funded by the National Science Foundation. Anderson is co-principle investigator for the NSF-funded project to promote manufacturing education at MCC and the Hopkins County Career Technology Center, where he is an instructor.
Anderson is shown with Schneider and Joe Hudson, a Greenville native and National Thumbpickers Hall of Fame member, who also signed the guitar.
