SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Rock guitar master Joe Satriani will perform in Syracuse this coming winter.
The Long Island native will play at the Landmark Theatre on Feb. 9. Presale tickets will be available on Satriani’s website on Oct. 3. General tickets will go on sale Oct. 6. Prices have not yet been listed.
Raised on Jimi Hendrix, Satriani is one of the greatest living guitarists today. For decades, he has been a driving force for the “G3” and “G4” tours, designed to showcase three or four guitar virtuosos.
On the 2018 “G3” tour, Dream Theater’s John Petrucci and Def Leppard’s Phil Collen will join Satriani for a bona fide shred fest.
After the Syracuse show, the power trio will take the “G3” tour to Albany’s Palace Theatre on Feb. 10.
Satriani’s 16th solo record, “What Happens Next,” will drop on Jan. 12.
