Chamber Music Charleston brings Rock and Rondo Redux to Library Society | Features

Chamber Music Charleston’s “Rock and Rondo Redux” returns to the Charleston Library Society at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12.

The fourth iteration of the rock ’n’ roll/classical crossover program features violinists Jenny Weiss and Tomas Jakubek, violist Ben Weiss and cellist Timothy O’Malley performing Mozart’s String Quartet No. 19 in C Major and a selection of works by The Beatles and Led Zeppelin

The Library Society is  at 164 King St. Tickets are $20 for Library Society members, $30 for nonmembers. Tickets can be purchased online at www.charlestonlibrarysociety.org or by calling 843-723-9912.

Chamber Music Charleston is in its 11th season. In May, the group performed at Carnegie Hall. In May 2018, it will present its first international concert at the Musica en Segura Festival in Spain.
