The family of a “caring and loving” young NHS worker who died after collapsing at a concert paid tribute to him today.
Ali Mills suffered a cardiac arrest at Alexandra Palace during a show by English rock band Bring Me The Horizon on Friday. Medics arrived within three minutes but could not save him.
Mr Mills, 25, lived with his mother and brother Richard in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire.
Sister Nicola, 29, said: “He had a heart condition that we think was exacerbated by the moshing and dancing, jumping around and enjoying himself — doing what he loved.”
She said her brother was a music lover who worked as an operating theatre assistant.
She told the Standard: “He was lively and extroverted, and an incredibly caring and loving person.”
Bring Me The Horizon wrote on Twitter: “Words cannot express how horrified we are after hearing about the death of a young man at our show. Our hearts and deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones.”
