Streaming is dominated by hip-hop, R&B, and pop. But while rock fans have been slow to adopt the technology (it’s rare that you find a single rock song in the weekly Top 200 streaming songs), it doesn’t mean that no one is listening this way.
Metal Suck has helpfully created this list of which hard rock and metal bands have seen some streaming success. For the most part, these aren’t Drake numbers, but they’re only going to go up.
- Linkin Park (1 billion)
- Five Finger Death Punch (575 million)
- Papa Roach (320 million)
- A Day To Remember (203 million)
- Bullet For My Valentine (200 million)
- Alice In Chains (183 million)
- Stone Sour (165 million)
- Godsmack (155 million)
- Asking Alexandria (142 million)
- Trivium (110 million)
- Bad Wolves (89 million)
- Lamb Of God (75 million)
